正直、日本語での説明が非常に難しい英語らしいフレーズで、これを自由に使いこなせたらかっこいいなぁと思います。

例文で感覚を掴んでいただきたいです 😀
まずは「never so much as」の例文から紹介します。
最初は「Boston Legal（ボストンリーガル）」から。
Dr. Field: I didn’t shoot before, Denny, but I will this time. I really will. （この前は撃たなかったが今回は撃つぞ、デニー。本気だ）
Denny: Sydney, I took you out once. Don’t make me do it again.（シドニー、前にもやっただろ、同じことをさせないでくれ）
Dr. Field: With what? （何をだ？）
Denny: This! [takes out his gun and fires]（これだ！[銃を出し撃つ])
Alan: You said you’d never so much as look at a gun again.（今後はもう銃を見ることすらしないとしないと言ってたのに）
Denny: I never said I wouldn’t shoot one.（撃たないとは言ってないぞ）
次は「ever so much as」の例文を「Under the dome（アンダー・ザ・ドーム）」から。
Big Jim: You have to leave. (ジム、出て行ってくれ）
